RCM Active Commodities Fund

Raiffeisen Active Commodities is established on 10 August 2009. The fund participates in the price developments of listed commodities and commodity derivatives. The fund’s portfolio covers energy, and precious and industrial metals. Since the end of October 2013, the fund has invested exclusively in strategies which do not include any agricultural products.

Using the fund management’s active strategies the goal is to earn additional returns. Investment is made in ETFs, ETCs, commodities strategy funds (as per UCITS III) and commodity derivatives. The fund participates in the development of commodity prices, but does not itself acquire physical commodities. This allows investors a simple, transparent and well diversified access to the asset class of commodities. Among other things, this class is marked by a low level of correlation to established asset classes such as equities and bonds, and also offers some protection against inflation. The fund is suitable for institutional and private investors. The minimum investment horizon is at least 10 years.
