Mutual Fund

An investment product for the purpose of collective investment in securities of funds raised through public offering of shares. Mutual Funds are operated by money managers, who invest the fund's capital and attempt to produce capital gains and income for the fund's investors. A Mutual fund's portfolio is structured and maintained to match the investment objectives stated in its prospectus.

The investment activities of each Mutual fund, including the management of its assets, are carried out by a Licensed Management Entity, which is supervised by the Financial Supervision Commission. The Management Entity invests the collected funds in various investment securities on its behalf and at its expense according to the investment objectives stated in the prospectus. The Management Entity has a team of professionals in the field of investment management who work at the fund investors’ interest.
