Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria) – the newly established asset management company and fully owned subsidiary of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) has been registered in the Companies’ register of the Sofia City Court. The company has a two-tier management system - Supervisory Board and Management Board.
Mr. Momtchil Andreev, Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Director of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD, is also the chairman of the Supervisory board of the new company. The other members of the Supervisory board are Mrs. Emanuela Nikolova, who is a Procurator of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD responsible for Risk Management and Mr. Martin Jetan, responsible for asset management companies and institutionals in Raiffeisen Capital Management, the leading Austrian company with more than EUR 32 bln. under management at present with strong presence on the European market of fund management services.
Ms. Evelina Miltenova, Executive Director of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) in charge of the Treasury and Investment Banking, CFA charter holder will be the chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria). The other members of the Management Board are Ms.Ani Angelova, Procurator of Raiffesienbank, responsible for the Branch Network and Mr. Dragomir Velikov, Head of Investment Banking Department in Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) and licensed investment consultant, who will also act as the executive member of the management board of Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria).
The Management of the new company has long experience in the banking and financial industry and an excellent track record of investing on the local and international capital markets and portfolio management.
The court registration was the final procedure for the legal establishment of Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria) before the company starts its core activities related to distribution and management of local and foreign funds. Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission has already approved the prospectuses for public offering of eight of the most successful Raiffeisen Capital Management’s Funds. The prospectuses of the four local funds which will be managed by Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria) have been already submitted for approval to the Financial Supervision Commission.
